Unchanged for years, corrugated boxes are still the best way to ship your goods around the world. They offer a great protection and can be erected on site to save space in your packing area.
Determining the best flute size depends on many factors. The most significant factors are, the weight of the contents and whether or not the box will be shipped overseas.
If you are unsure which flute size to choose, we would advise you to let us know what the box will be used for and we will give our suggested flute size based on the information you give us.
Weight of Contents
Giving us an estimated weight of the contents will help us to ensure that the specification you choose for your box will be up to the job of protecting your goods.
For heavy goods, choose a larger flute size to prevent the box from breaking down during sorting and transit. Conversely, if your contents is light weight and not being shipped internationally, a smaller flute size can be chosen to save on material costs.
Probably the most important step when designing a box, is getting the dimensions right. Size matters, and designing your box in a way that saves material but doesn't put the contents as risk of damage is imperative.
When you tell us the dimensions you want your box to be, be sure to get them in the right order. The correct order is, Length x Width x Height.
Branding your boxes is a great way to show the world that you're a respectable business. In addition to giving your product a professional look, it increases your brand recognition.
While adding colour to your boxes does increase the cost, this can be offset by ordering a higher quantity.
Depending on the style of box you choose, we are able to offer up to 6 colour print.
